TRTC, Guwahati provides user-friendly consultancy services in connection with product development, process development, manufacturing of moulds/dies, press tools, jigs, fixtures etc., including setting up of tool room and machine shop. The Centre also keeps liaison with the entrepreneurs who visit the Centre and discuss their problems and requirement of tools. To acquaint themselves with the machining facilities available, officials of the department also visit works of entrepreneurs. Price estimates for need-based tools are given for acceptance before design and / or manufacture is undertaken.
